With the start of the New Year and the big holiday season behind me, I am feeling a need for a fresh start. And so I introduce to you the …
…And I would love for you to join me! I am still working out the specific details, but what I do know is:
- This will be a 6 week challenge
- This will be a challenge based on getting healthier and not LBs lost
- I want this challenge to be focused on being accountable
- If you can get a partner to do the challenge with you, you will have better success (if not, we will work out something else for you)
- This will be similar to the rules to the Slim Down For Summer Fitness Challenge from last year, but a little more simple.

My Plan:
You do not need to purchase anything to participate in the Fitness Challenge, but it is helpful to go in with a plan! How are you going to work out? What are you going to change? What do you want to work on? What is going to help you be successful? These are all things you need to be thinking of over the next week be fore we get started. This time around, I have armed myself with something I can afford, feel like I can be successful with and I have invited all of you to join me to give me added accountability. So, no matter what you are doing to participate, figure out your plan and if you are lacking ideas, you can use my plan!
My personal plan is to use the eating guide and workouts for the {affiliate link} 6 Week Challenge from Fit Moms For Life {FM4L}. This is not a quick fix plan, but more of a training guide to changing your habits and completely affordable!
Nutrition:
The eating/nutrition plan is super simple to follow with plenty of options to fit your needs and is created by Tracie Fountain, so it is not only awesome but totally doable! (I shared a review of Tracie’s nutrition program, Change Your Plate Change Your Life Home Study Course, back in April and lost 10 lbs from just changing the way/what I was eating). This is not a “special” nutrition plan that is only for you, but it is totally something I can use with the whole family. We all can eat the same things. And when I say “plenty of options to fit your needs”, they offer multiple meal ideas for each meal, so you are sure to find something that you will/can enjoy eating with your entire family. Fitness:
The workouts are easy enough for a beginner and tough enough for a regular workouter (I know, not a real word!). I love it because each workout is only 20-30 minutes and the goal is 3 times a week. Totally doable and You Are Worth The Time!!! Everyone has 20 minutes, right? Make it count!
