{Don’t forget to scroll down to see the game in action!}
I have played many variations of the Sign Game and all of them were fun, but this version has to be my favorite to watch! It is very interactive and you have the freedom to be as creative as you want. It is supposed to be a fast paced game and therefore may need to be slowed down and the rules altered for groups with younger children. Perfect for large or small groups! I made a video demonstration, too, so you can see it in action!
What You Need:
- A group of at least 4 individuals – the larger the group the more entertaining it can be
Directions:
Step 1: Choose your sign and announce it to the group. This is usually done in a roll call fashion. See the video below for ideas on some signs and how the roll call is done.
Step 2: First player calls out their own sign and then calls out a 2nd sign of choice for a member in the group.
Step 3: Whoever’s sign is called out accepts the call (no other option but to accept) by repeating their own sign and then calling out a sign of another player in the group.
Stpe 4: Keep the game going quickly with hardly any pauses. See how long you can last and keep it going until everyone is busting a gut from laughing!
Video Demonstration:
Here is a video demonstration for your viewing pleasure…I do not know about you, but I can’t help but laugh through this video! (click here if you do not see the video below)
ENJOY!!!
I think my 7 year old niece would love this…and I know that her mother would, too! Thanks for the great game!
