Hi, it’s Lyanna from Lyanna Jean Designs (I know really original blog name). Haha. However, I have a super easy knitting pattern for you today, so don’t be intimidated if you’re a beginner. I wrote this pattern for charity purposes. There are plenty of preemies born each day, and most of the parents delivering these little bundles of joy are caught a little off-guard by their early arrival and haven’t had adequate time to prepare for them. So, what can we do?? Make lovely handmade blankets just their size! If you don’t know of any people/places that run these types of charities, you could contact your local hospital or one of these charities: Project Linus or Greyson’s Gift.
Since I will be attempting to organize a Greyson’s Gifts Charity locally, I figured why not come up with a super easy pattern to knit up a Preemie-sized baby blanket.
