*UPDATE: We have had to edit this post to be more FDA compliant and are now very limited on what we can say/share about essential oils via our website. We are so sorry for the inconvenience and changed this post to meet those requests. If you would like to know more specific details about essential oils, you can lean more over on our Essential Oils 101 post HERE or fill out the “More Information Form” HERE and we are more than happy to tell you more over the phone or via email.
These are just a few ways you can use the Peppermint Oil to enhance your everyday life:
5 Uses for Peppermint oil
Headaches
Rub a drop on your temples and back of neck to ease tension. This can be a strong sensation, so it is recommended more for adults.
Afternoon Pick- Me-Up
Add one drop of Peppermint Oil on the tip of your thumb and press it onto the roof of your mouth. As good as a caffeinated beverage. I have been using peppermint oil to help keep me more alert while driving on long trips. Mainly for adults, but my son is doing a demonstration for you. 😉
For Carsickness
Rub a drop on your belly button area. My kiddos request this now!
To Cool Off Your Body On a Hot Day
Apply a couple of drops to the bottoms of the feet and a drop to your drinking water.
Fevers
Spread a couple of drops on the back of the neck and the bottom of the feet. Cover their feet with a pair of socks to keep the oil from transferring to other items. You can also pair this with our wet socks treatment for a double whammy on elevated temperatures. Forgive the dirty feet. She kept wanting to stomp on them!

I love peppermint, it is such a stimulating scent. I would love to add it to some of my essential oil mixes. I’m very new to aromatherapy.
