At big family parties we like to have a gift exchange with a $5 limit. With a limit like that yummy treats are usually a hot item. My sister recently created this gift for our last White Elephant Gift Exchange. It is such a cute gag gift and simple idea that I have to share!
Start with a box of chocolates. Who doesn’t love that? A store like Walgreens may have some great deals on boxes of chocolates at certain times throughout the year (hint: after valentines day sales – older may be better for a gag gift. lol) and make sure to use a Walgreens coupon code.
Open it up and label the inside sheet/padding “Kid Tested”. I think it would have been even funnier to leave this warning out.
Take a picture of yourself or some of your favorite kiddos taking a bite of the chocolates.
And then let them go to town… Bite into one or two or all. If you are nice, you will really cut or break them, but to each their own! lol
And believe me, everyone had a good laugh over this one! Hopefully your recipient will take it as well as she did!
What is your favorite White Elephant Gift or Gag Gift?
