This week I made my daughter a dress. A first time for me. I am really happy with the way it turned out and so is she! She is excited about how she can spin in it.
I am going to have to make her a few others for this summer. I have a few friends who have made some dresses for their girls and they pointed out that their daughters love these homemade dresses so much they wear them more than any of their other clothing. I think it is going to be the same thing with my twirly girl as well!
P.S. Make sure you enter the Moby Wrap Giveaway! It’s easy, easy entry and would make a great gift for you or a friend!

How I wish I could sew…that’s a great dress. Good JOb!
Melissa ~ Thanks! I’m not really a sewer either, but the pattern was quite easy.
What an adorable dress!
I’m not blogging lately, but my brag is that I took all three kids on the bus to go see the UNC arboretum this week. We learned the names of a few trees (I love Japanese Maples in the spring, I discovered!) and saw some new plants blossoming; magnolias, anyone?
That’s great Emily! And Thanks for sharing. I had not considered leaving comments to share. I like it!…if you ever just want to share a facebook note, comment or picture, you can do that, too. I want everyone to be able to participate whether they have a blog or not!
I love this dress! Very cute and fun. I love your blog and follow you on facebook too, thank you for all of the inspiration! 🙂 Heather
Congrats on your first dress!! Here’s to many more to come! 🙂
