The M&M Straw Game is not only a favorite with our friends and family, but it is also a favorite with a lot of Fun On a Dime readers. It is the most popular game on this site. And until recently, we could never play it with our own kiddos because shake straws, believe it or not, are harder for younger children to suck with. Thanks to my son’s kindergarten teacher we do not have that problem anymore. She taught me a variation that is more kid friendly (and sugar addict friendly, too) that lets us play this game with everyone! It was my, “Why didn’t I think of that?” moment. Everyone should have a Kindergarten teacher for a friend!!! They just look at things differently and thank goodness for that!
Note: This does have an educational spin on it, but that doesn’t make it any less fun!
I think I have seen that game on a TV show and I thought that was a fun game. That would be perfect fro birthday parties and even a game for certain occasion. Thanks for sharing.
Yeah, there are a lot of “Why didn’t I think of that?” moments in my life. Luckily we have Internet and a lot of cool people sharing great ideas. Thank you for this one, it’ll be very appreciated by my kids.
