My days look a little something like this:

6 am: Feed the baby

6:30 am: Shower; ready for my day

7 am: 2 yr old wakes up; start laundry; check calendar for day

7:30 am: Rest of kids wake up; start chores

8:00 am: Cook breakfast

Fast Forward……

7:00 pm: Dishes; bathe kids; story time

8 pm: Put kids to bed

8:30 pm: Start dishwasher; sweep; start load of laundry

9 pm: Sit down and maybe have a conversation with my husband but probably feed and rock baby to sleep LOL

Yep pretty much my whole day is go, go, go! Don’t get me wrong I LOVE my life and my job as a full time mom but sometimes it is exhausting and I am the first one to admit I don’t take much time for myself.

I have been thinking a lot about this lately and really time for me doesn’t have to take a lot of time or cost a lot of money. I have a few sure fire ways to pamper yourself and to enjoy the few precious moments you get as a busy mom!!

Good Hand Lotion

I don’t know about you but I wash my hands a billion times a day. Between changing diapers and dishes my hands take a beating! A huge luxury for me is hand cream. I know you might think such a little thing is silly but pampering your hands is a wonderful treat.

Lip Gloss

You might not have time everyday to put on a full face of makeup or do anything with your hair better than a pony tail but a good color of lip gloss can brighten up any tired face!! I always have one of these stashed in my purse and diaper bag.

Whitening Toothpaste

Who has time to go to the dentist for expensive teeth whitening? I know I don’t but that doesn’t mean I don’t want a pretty smile!

I know its not warm and sunny everywhere yet but in AZ it is flip flop weather. I think taking the time to paint your toes is another way to pamper yourself and make yourself feel special. It always makes me smile when I look down and I have a pretty color on my toes.

As you can see these are all simple things and even if I went out and bought all this stuff at once you wouldn’t even spend 20 dollars and that includes a new toothbrush to go with my new toothpaste for my whiter teeth!!
