I know, I know! Christmas is so far away, it is still hot outside and the last thing you want is to think about it. But, August is a great time to start preparing, especially if you want to make something special or get an awesome deal. And just think, if you happen to get all your shopping done early and save $ doing it, your holiday season is going to be a completely different experience….stress free (sigh).
Now for deals: Right now (and through the end of August) is an awesome time with all the Back-To-School sales to stock up on craft/art favorites. Craft supplies make a great small gift. Like, if you snag a pencil box (can be found for around 50 cents), you can fill it with a few items. My kids go crazy over a new box of crayons!

I also have a 2 year old…so I wont be able to afford it if I wait until December lol! I’ve been keeping my eye out on Baby Bargain Mondays through Amazon, and collecting Swagbucks for Amazon giftcards, so hopefully those help!
