I have a feeling this is what the rest of my workouts are going to look like. It must be the best seat in the house!
Today was the first day of our Fresh Start Fitness Challenge. I hope everyone was able to get signed up and get started. If not, make sure you do! It is never too late. Sign up HERE and check out how this works on the points information page.
A few things to note as you get started…You will need:
A Plan
Figure out how you are going to achieve all your daily points. How are you going to get your workouts in, what are you going to use to drink your water, what is your extra goal, etc?If you need a gym membership and can afford it, go for it! If not, there are a lot of free online exercise workouts available.
A Partner
A partner (aka accountability) will be key to your success. They will/should help keep you motivated throughout the 6 weeks and you should contact them daily (text, email, Facebook, etc) to help keep you “accountable”.
Starting Measurements
Make sure you take your starting measurements/weight. You can keep them to yourselves. Yes, this is about building healthy habits and not about size/weight, but these measurements will help remind you that you are benefiting from changing your fitness hobbies. I find it helpful for when I am getting frustrated and think what I am doing is not working and then am surprised when I found out the inches have gone down. You do not have to tell me your measurements, but they are there for you to compare to at the end.
