I first want to state that I am no certified health expert other than I, too, have cravings that I fight! We are all experts on our own condition. If you feel you have some information that would be helpful, feel free to leave a comment below to share with others….This way we can help each other and look for some inspiration when needed.
- Here is an excellent article on some tips to fight cravings.
- And just because you are going sugar free does not mean you have to miss out on “treats”. Here are some healthy alternatives and some just plain good recipes! P.S. I have tried the brownies and they are quite good…just make sure you follow the instructions with the time. They are much better gooey (I waited until I could poke them with a fork and it came out clean – they were much too dry by that point!).
You can do this!
You may not be a certified health professional, but you get major points for being a motivated motivator and super ambitious! Thanks for doing this!!
My tip for fighting cravings…. I like to focus on what I CAN have instead of what I can’t. If I keep saying “no sugar, no sugar”….. I’ll want sugar! So I try to think about all the things I can eat as much of as I want….. veggies, raw fruit…. ice water….. =)
Thanks so much for this challenge! I take advantage of any motivation I can to lose this last little bit of weight I put on after having my 2 kids! One really healthy snack is a handful of raw almonds they help fight cravings, and are very healthy for you!
