Must Have Christmas Gifts for Kids

I have a confession I don’t like toys. I know that is awful but I hate the mess that they make and the pieces that are always lost and the list goes on. So for this reason I am super particular about the toys that we get. I don’t just buy toys because its the most popular commercial right now or because their friend has one. I want toys that have some kind of educational value but are still fun and will entertain them. My go to toy company is hands down LeapFrog. Seriously there toys never disappoint! Here are three new ones we got recently that are must haves for Christmas this year……

Number Lovin’ Oven

This is definitely my almost 5 year old daughters favorite toy. First off she loves playing kitchen and restaurant and when you add in all the math it encourages it is a win for mom! All the pieces store perfectly inside the oven so it makes it easy to not lose any of the pieces. Another mom win! It has over 30 songs included as well which my girls love to sing along with. Even my big kids like to play along with their sister. It really is fun for everyone!

Scout’s Build & Discover Tool Set

This toy has my son written all over it. He is the only boy in a sea of girls and loves tools. He is obsessed with hammers (he calls them bang bangs). Such a funny kid! This toy has only brought out his love of tools more. Scout sings to him as he plays recognizing colors and counting along. Another mom approved educational toy! All the pieces fit in to the dog house that comes apart and can be put back together over and over with the tools provided. This is his new companion to take with him everywhere he goes!!

LeapFrog epic

We have more electronic tablets in this house than we know what to do with but seriously this one is amazing!!! LeapFrog just keeps continuing to amaze me at what they come up with next. If you are thinking about getting your child a tablet for Christmas this is the one to get!!

It is almost indestructible which is perfect for all my little clumsy kids! They come by it honestly I promise:)It can hold up to 3 different child profiles and each can be set to a different age level so it grows and adapts to your child’s abilities. As a parent you can manage what, when and how long your kids can play! Hello, AWESOME! One of my kids favorite features is the weather App that keeps them up to date on the weather outside and the camera of course. What kid doesn’t like to take pictures and videos of themselves. Other epic features is that there are no in-app purchases and no third party ads. Love this part!
