It is Summertime! A time for lots of fun in the sun. But what do you do on those days when you are stuck inside because of rain or because of those days when it is just too hot to go out side? Do not worry. We were lucky enough to receive a Phase 4 S-O-S Kit that included some of their 8 films mentioned above, as well as some theater-style snacks, a deck of cards for games and tower building, a fleece blanket (great for movie watching and tent building) and some fun rainy day activity ideas. There are also some free fun activity sheets available for download on Redbox’s Summer Family Fun site based on some popular family movies, including Space Dogs and Kiara.

To be honest, I did not expect many rainy days this summer, but more way too hot to be outside days that we would be using this kit for. I am glad to be wrong! We were pleasantly surprised to have a good handful of rainy afternoons/evenings. So much so, that every time my son sees dark clouds in the distance he starts asking if it is going to be a Movie Day!
