- 1/2 lb Cooked Meat (i.e. turkey leftovers)
- 1 Cup Mixed Vegetables (leftover veggies are perfect!)
- 1 – 1.5 Cups Brown Gravy
- 2 Cups Mashed Potatoes
- 8×8 pan
- 1 well beaten egg (optional)
Note: Double the recipe and use a 9×13 pan for a meal with more servings.
Directions:
Step 1: Add hamburger, vegetables and gravy to a large saucepan. Stir together and let it set until it is just boiling. Set aside.
Step 2: Prepare your mashed potatoes (if the are not already) and add the egg to the potatoes mixing well. We have made it without and it is still good, but does taste better with the egg. The egg seems to give the mashed potatoes a fluffier texture.
Step 3: Lightly spray an 8×8 pan. Pour the contents of the skillet into the pan and top with mashed potatoes distributing the potatoes evenly.
Step 4: Bake in the oven for 20 minutes on 325 Degree or until the potatoes start to get lightly browned on top.
ENJOY!
